We are seeking a Business Unit Director to take charge of a significant area of operations within the transport and logistics sector.
The context gives the role a particularly entrepreneurial dimension.

The role is based in a hybrid organisation spanning France and Wallonia, Belgium, requiring regular engagement with teams and operations.

You also ensure compliance with the specific compliance, security and regulatory requirements of the transport and logistics sectors.

you maintain close ties with central functions and are able to provide a clear overview of the situation, the risks, the decisions to be taken and the results achieved.
A cross-border
dimension
The scope of the role requires the ability to work seamlessly between France and Wallonia in Belgium.
This hybrid working arrangement involves regular travel and close ties with the various sites and teams.
Beyond mobility, we are looking for someone capable of understanding different environments and building a shared dynamic without seeking to artificially standardise practices.
The profile we are looking
for
You have built up significant experience in managing a transport and/or logistics operation, ideally with full responsibility for a profit centre.
You have a thorough understanding of operations and are able to discuss operational, management, commercial and financial performance issues with authority.
You have previously worked in an environment undergoing transformation, restructuring, turnaround or significant change, and know how to step in when things are not yet perfectly organised.
Experience across multiple sites is a real asset.
Your command of English enables you to thrive in an international professional environment.
