JOB DESCRIPTION
Scope of the position
The focus of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is to achieve results that are aligned with the overall organisation and its strategic objectives. Initiative, combined with a competitive drive and the ability to remain focused on results despite changing conditions, are key to achieving the performance objectives of the DSE role.
The DSE orchestrates the involvement of various individuals in the sales process to ensure consistent revenue from new customers for the local office and the Logistics Operator network. The work environment is flexible, constantly changing, and offers opportunities for growth, recognition, and rewards for achieving business results. This position reports to the District Sales Manager (DSM).
Key responsibilities
These are the minimum results expected of a successful DSE:
Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
Timely data entry into our customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
Organise customer/branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo and Knowledge Management departments.
Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer logistics needs, including support diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
Support the transition of new accounts through customer presentations, information transfer and obtaining any necessary documentation for the customer. When necessary, support the collection of accounts receivable (AR).
Attend training and development sessions to continue developing sales skills and updating knowledge of the Logistics Operator's products and services.
Participate in local trade groups, as directed by the DSM.
Take on additional tasks as needed, supporting the needs of the company.

Fluency in spoken and written English (C1).
