Our client, a recognised leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is continuing to expand in the French market and is seeking its next Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Department, your role will be to develop and retain a portfolio of strategic clients whilst identifying new growth opportunities.
Acting as a true partner to decision-makers, you will support your clients in implementing solutions tailored to their operational challenges and play an active role in building long-term relationships.
On a day-to-day basis, you will expand your client portfolio, prospect for new accounts, lead commercial negotiations, draw up bespoke proposals and monitor the financial performance of your projects.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the success of the solutions deployed and contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes and services offered.
You will have a higher education qualification and at least 5 years’ experience in B2B business development, strategic account management or the sale of complex solutions.
Experience in the logistics, transport, supply chain or business services sectors would be a real asset.
You are recognised for your ability to build trusting relationships with senior-level contacts, your negotiation skills, your results-oriented approach and your entrepreneurial spirit. You are independent, well-organised and proactive, and you thrive in dynamic, international environments.
Fluency in French and English is essential. A Category B driving licence is required.
This is a home-based role based in France, involving frequent travel within the country.
