As part of its expansion, our client is looking for a Junior Production Planner to strengthen its production team.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will help organise and oversee production by managing orders, issuing production orders and planning projects.
Acting as the key link between the sales and production teams, you will help ensure the smooth running of operations and that production deadlines are met.
Your responsibilities

Receiving and checking customer orders before they go into production.

Check that production files are compliant and complete.

Follow up with the sales teams to obtain the information or approvals required to release orders.

Create and initiate production orders in the ERP system.

Help plan production, taking into account priorities, customer deadlines and workshop capacity.

Monitor the progress of orders and adjust the schedule in line with production contingencies.

Act as the liaison between the sales teams, production and the various internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of information.

Update production data and ensure the reliability of information in management systems.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling methods.
Required profile

A two- to five-year degree in Production Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Previous experience in planning, scheduling, production management or order administration is desirable, including experience gained through a work-study programme.

Proficiency in office software and familiarity with ERP systems.

Good understanding of industrial processes and production constraints.

Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritise urgent tasks.
