About the company

To strengthen its Bilbao branch, we are looking to recruit a National Road Freight Dispatcher
with experience in managing full loads and groupage shipments.
What will
your role involve?
You will join the operations department, where you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising day-to-day domestic transport operations, ensuring the efficient use of both in-house and external resources, service quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Management and monitoring of domestic transport services.
- Daily route planning and resource optimisation.
- Managing and coordinating our own fleet.
- Allocating services to drivers and vehicles.
- Planning and coordination of full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.
- Contracting and coordination of partner hauliers.
- Management of freight exchanges and booking platforms.
- Tracking of shipments and resolution of incidents.
- Optimisation of loads, routes and resources to maximise operational profitability.
- Liaising and coordinating with customers, drivers and transport providers.
- Coordination with other branches and internal departments.
Requirements
- Experience in managing an in-house fleet and coordinating partner hauliers.
- Knowledge of route planning and load optimisation.
- Experience with full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments.
- Regular use of freight exchanges and transport management tools.
- Negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Customer- and results-oriented.
