- Monitor costs relating to maintenance, repairs, MOTs, spare parts and external services.
- Implement and monitor indicators such as fleet availability, cost per vehicle, cost per kilometre, downtime and compliance with preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with technical, documentation and safety regulations.
- Work across departments with traffic, operations, administration and management.
- Oversee the organisation and smooth running of the main vehicle car park located in Coslada.
- Deal with significant incidents outside normal working hours when operational requirements so dictate.

- Management and maintenance of transport fleets.
- Commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles.
- Workshop coordination or management.
- Management of technical teams.
- Cost control and management of maintenance suppliers.
You will need to demonstrate a good technical understanding of tractor units, commercial vehicles and trailers, together with the ability to analyse information, identify patterns of breakdowns and make decisions based on key performance indicators.
We will particularly value a candidate who is:
- Organised, methodical and with strong planning skills.
- Decisive and able to make decisions independently.
- With operational leadership and the ability to manage priorities.
- Results-oriented, service-minded and committed to operational continuity.
- Proactive, committed and with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Able to combine a technical vision with an economic and strategic perspective.
What does the role offer?
- A key role with a direct impact on the efficiency and profitability of the operation.
- Genuine responsibility for a significant fleet and a dedicated technical team.
- The opportunity to implement processes, performance indicators and new management tools.
- A project in which you will be able to transform a predominantly reactive management approach into a model based on prevention, planning and analysis.
- Competitive remuneration commensurate with the experience you bring.
